Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health and MP for South West Surrey, will be digging the first piece of turf for the new Urology Centre at Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford on the 2nd October 2015.
K2 Consultancy are handling the project and commercial management of the development on behalf of the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Trust.

The new centre includes: 5 consulting rooms, 3 diagnostic and treatment rooms with recovery areas, a state of the art Multi-Disciplinary Team room and lecture theatre and Research laboratory. The building has been designed to the highest levels of sustainability, having a BREEAM Excellent rating.
The construction of a new wing links to the 25 year clinical vision and strategy for the Trust in order to meet the forecast growth in demand and to provide the best practice healthcare to our patients.
This development has been made possible with the funding of The Prostate Project charitable funding and through investment from the Trust.
The Centre will provide world class care and treatment under the direction of Prof Stephen Langley (Professor and Clinical Director of Urology), who has been central to the design and specification of the new facility.
